These Terms and Conditions govern your use of https://linea.com.mt and any order placed with LINEA Studio, trading as LINEA. Please read them carefully before placing an order. By placing an order through our website or directly with us, you confirm that you have read and accepted them.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any rights granted to consumers under applicable Maltese or European Union law.
This website is operated by LINEA Studio, trading as LINEA, Partnership Registration Number P Comm 391, with registered address at 2, Triq tal-Bajjada, Qormi QRM 3406, Malta.

References to “LINEA”, “we”, “us” or “our” refer to LINEA Studio, trading as LINEA. References to “you”, “your” or “customer” refer to the person purchasing products from us or using our website.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, dimensions, specifications, materials, prices and images are accurate.
However:
Where colour, texture or scale is important, we recommend requesting a sample or viewing the product before ordering. Styled interior images are illustrative; other items shown are not included unless expressly stated.
All prices are displayed in euro. Unless expressly stated otherwise, consumer prices include VAT at the applicable rate. Delivery, installation and other additional charges are excluded unless specifically stated.
We may change prices at any time, but a change will not affect an order already accepted. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to an error, we may reject or cancel the order and refund any payment received for the cancelled item.
Products added to your basket are not reserved. Before submitting an order, you must check the product, finish, size, quantity, colour, measurements, specifications, delivery details, total price and whether the product is standard, made to order or personalised.
An email acknowledging receipt of an online order does not necessarily constitute acceptance. A binding contract is formed when we issue an order confirmation or otherwise confirm acceptance.
We may reject or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, payment is declined, information is incorrect, delivery is not possible, fraud is suspected, a price or product was displayed incorrectly, a bespoke request cannot reasonably be produced, the order would breach the law or circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent fulfilment. If payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid for any cancelled product.
Available payment methods are displayed at checkout or stated in the quotation. Payment must be made in accordance with the terms shown at checkout, on the invoice or in the written quotation.
For some made-to-order or personalised products, we may accept a deposit followed by a balance. Production will not begin until the required deposit has cleared. The balance must be paid by the agreed date and, unless otherwise agreed, before delivery or collection. Late payment may delay production or delivery.
Online payments may be processed by an independent payment provider. We do not normally retain complete payment-card details.
All products are subject to availability. Production, dispatch and delivery dates are estimates unless a fixed date is expressly confirmed in writing. Lead times may be affected by product availability, supplier schedules, personalisation, approvals, receipt of measurements, payment clearance, transport conditions, public holidays and circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We will contact you if there is a significant delay. Your statutory rights in relation to delayed delivery remain unaffected.
Made-to-order products include made-to-measure murals, wallpapers printed or cut for a project, products ordered in a customer-selected size, colour or finish, customised wall art and products sourced specially for a customer.
Once production or special procurement has begun, these products cannot normally be changed or cancelled. The statutory cooling-off right generally does not apply to goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised. Rights relating to defective, damaged or non-conforming products remain unaffected.
You are responsible for providing accurate wall measurements unless LINEA has expressly agreed in writing to conduct a site survey and take responsibility for them. Provide the full width and height at the wall’s widest and highest points. We recommend allowing a suitable installation margin or bleed.
Any quantity or dimension recommendation is based on the information supplied. LINEA is not responsible for shortages, excess material or incorrect fitting caused by inaccurate, incomplete or misleading measurements.
You are responsible for ordering sufficient material, including allowance for repeat, pattern matching, trimming, waste and site conditions. Additional material ordered later may differ slightly in colour, texture or print because it may come from another production or dye batch.
Where LINEA prepares a crop, scale or artwork preview, you must check the composition, positioning, dimensions, proportions, orientation and any elements that may be trimmed. Production may begin once approval is received. Digital previews are visual guides and may not reproduce exact colour, texture or scale.
Wallcoverings must be installed on a suitably prepared, clean, dry, stable and smooth surface. The wall must be properly painted or primed and must not be left as untreated plaster. Moisture, mould, cracking, dust, grease, loose paint, unstable plaster and irregularities must be addressed before installation.
We strongly recommend engaging an experienced professional wallpaper or mural installer. Unless expressly included, installation is not part of the product price. Printed wallcoverings may be prepared for a double-cut overlap installation technique unless otherwise specified.
The installer must inspect the wall and material before starting, follow the supplied instructions, use suitable tools and adhesive, check panel order and alignment, and stop immediately if a possible defect is identified.
LINEA is not responsible for damage caused by an unsuitable surface, dampness, structural movement, water ingress, incorrect installation, unsuitable adhesive, poor preparation or continued installation after an apparent defect should reasonably have been identified. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Inspect products as soon as reasonably possible following delivery or collection. Before installing, cutting, assembling, modifying or using a product, check its reference, design, colour, finish, dimensions, quantity, batch information, panel order, components and visible condition.
For murals and wallpaper, lay out and check all panels before applying adhesive. Do not install more than one panel if you suspect a fault. Contact us before proceeding. Continuing work after a visible defect should reasonably have been identified may affect the available remedy, without excluding mandatory rights.
Delivery methods, areas and charges are shown at checkout or confirmed separately. You must provide a complete address and disclose access restrictions, including narrow entrances, stairs, parking restrictions, oversized items or the need for specialist equipment.
Unless expressly agreed, delivery is to a reasonably accessible ground-floor entrance and excludes unpacking, assembly, installation and packaging removal. If no one is available, additional delivery or storage charges may apply.
Risk of accidental loss or damage passes to a consumer when the product is physically received by the consumer or their nominated person, except where the consumer independently appoints a carrier not offered by LINEA.
Where collection is offered, we will notify you when the order is ready. Collection is by prior arrangement, and proof of identity or order confirmation may be required.
If an order is not collected within the stated period, we may charge reasonable storage or administration costs. Where it remains uncollected despite reasonable written notice, we may take further steps permitted by law.
Inspect external packaging and the product at delivery wherever reasonably possible. If damage is visible, record it with the courier where possible, photograph the packaging and product, retain all labels and contact us promptly. Do not install, assemble or use the product before receiving guidance.
Signing a delivery note does not remove your statutory rights, but prompt notice helps us investigate.
A consumer purchasing a standard, non-personalised product online or by another distance-selling method generally has the right to cancel within 14 days without giving a reason. For goods, the period generally expires 14 days after the consumer or their nominated person receives the product.
To cancel, email studio@linea.com.mt or write to our registered address before the period expires. You then have 14 days from notifying us to return the goods.
The cooling-off period does not apply where excluded by law, including products made to your specifications, clearly personalised products, made-to-measure murals, wallpaper cut, printed or adapted for a project, commissioned wall art and certain sealed hygiene-sensitive goods once unsealed.
The exemption depends on the nature of the product. Calling an ordinary stock product a “special order” does not automatically remove statutory cancellation rights. Rights regarding defective or non-conforming goods remain unaffected.
Contact us before returning a product and provide your order number. Unless the item is defective or we agree otherwise, you are responsible for the direct return cost and secure packaging. Return it without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of cancellation.
You may inspect the product as you would in a physical shop. You may be responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
Following a valid cancellation, we will refund payments received for the cancelled product, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered where required by law. Premium delivery upgrades are not normally refundable.
We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned product or evidence that it has been sent. Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.
Products must conform to the contract, be as described and be of the quality and performance reasonably expected.
If a product is faulty, damaged or does not match the agreed specification, contact studio@linea.com.mt with your order number, a description, photographs or video, packaging and label details and, for murals, images of the full panels and installation area.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or refund. We may request return or inspection. Mandatory legal guarantees and remedies remain unaffected
Candles, diffusers, room sprays and fragranced products must be used strictly in accordance with all instructions and warnings on the product, packaging or manufacturer’s documentation.
Customers must, where applicable:
Fragrance perception and performance are subjective and may vary with room size, ventilation, temperature, placement and individual sensitivity. A personal dislike or difference in perceived strength does not by itself mean that a product is defective. Natural variation in wax, fragrance oil, colour or handmade vessels is not necessarily a defect.
Stop use if a product appears damaged, behaves unusually or causes irritation. LINEA is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, unattended use, unsuitable placement, spillage or failure to follow warnings. Mandatory consumer and product-safety rights remain unaffected.
Children’s furniture must be assembled, installed, positioned, maintained and used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, age recommendations, weight limits and warnings. Adult assembly is required where stated.
Before use, a responsible adult must ensure that:
Tall furniture, shelving, drawer units and similar products must be secured to a suitable wall where required. The customer must select fixings appropriate for the wall and engage a competent installer where necessary. Fixings supplied may not suit every wall type.
Children must not climb, hang or swing on furniture unless it is specifically designed for that activity. Furniture must be inspected regularly and removed from use if damaged or unstable.
LINEA is not responsible for injury or damage caused by incorrect assembly, unsuitable fixings, failure to install restraints, misuse, overloading or unauthorised modification. This does not limit LINEA’s duty to supply safe and legally compliant products.
Toys and play products must be used only for their intended purpose and in accordance with the manufacturer’s age grading, instructions and safety warnings.
Before giving a toy to a child, the responsible adult must:
Warnings and age restrictions must not be ignored. Products marked unsuitable for children under three may contain small parts or other hazards. Toys containing cords, magnets, batteries, projectiles, electrical components, liquids or similar elements require particular care and supervision.
Button-cell and other batteries must be kept away from children; compartments must remain secured and used batteries must be removed and disposed of safely. Toys must be inspected periodically and removed from use if broken, worn, incomplete or unsafe.
LINEA is not responsible for injury or damage caused by ignoring restrictions or warnings, inadequate supervision, improper assembly, misuse, modification or continued use of a damaged product. Mandatory product-safety, conformity and consumer rights remain unaffected.
LINEA aims to supply products that comply with applicable Maltese and European Union product-safety requirements. Customers must read and retain all warnings, instructions, labels and product-identification information.
Do not use a product if it appears damaged, lacks required safety parts, is subject to a safety notice or recall, or would be used contrary to instructions.
If a product may present a safety risk, we may contact affected customers, issue instructions, arrange repair or replacement, request return or provide a refund as appropriate. Follow recall instructions promptly and stop using a recalled product where instructed.
Report any accident, injury or suspected safety issue to studio@linea.com.mt with the order number, product and batch details and photographs where available.
Follow all care, maintenance, safety and installation instructions and use products only for their intended purpose.
Sunlight, moisture, heat, unsuitable cleaning products, abrasion or improper handling may affect a product’s appearance or lifespan. Descriptions such as wipeable, washable, durable or abrasion-resistant are subject to the manufacturer’s specifications and do not mean that a product is indestructible or suitable for every condition
Unless expressly included, prices exclude delivery, installation, wall preparation, electrical or plumbing work, joinery, construction, removal of existing finishes and packaging disposal.
Where we provide contact details for an installer, courier or contractor, the customer may contract separately with that provider. Unless LINEA confirms otherwise in writing, independent providers are not LINEA employees or agents. This does not exclude responsibility where LINEA directly contracted to provide or manage the service.
Promotions are subject to their individual terms and availability. Unless stated otherwise, codes cannot be exchanged for cash, combined, applied retrospectively or used on excluded products, brands, personalised goods or delivery charges. Misuse may result in cancellation. Orders already accepted at a correctly advertised promotional price are unaffected.
You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and must notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. We may suspend or close accounts reasonably believed to be used fraudulently, unlawfully or in breach of these terms.
We aim to keep the website available and accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend or modify parts of it for maintenance, security, technical or business reasons.
You must not:
Website text, graphics, layouts, photographs, product presentations, logos, branding and original design material are owned by or licensed to LINEA and protected by intellectual-property law. You may use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping and information only.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish or commercially exploit our content without written permission. Product designs and images may also belong to manufacturers, artists or licensors.
If you provide photographs, artwork, text, logos or other material for personalisation, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, that it is lawful and that its use will not infringe third-party rights.
You are responsible for checking quality, resolution, spelling and content. We may reject unlawful, offensive, technically unsuitable or apparently infringing material.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.
Subject to the above, LINEA is not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate customer measurements or information, unsuitable surfaces, dampness, structural defects, incorrect installation or care, continued installation after a visible defect, reasonable manufacturing variation, events outside our control, indirect unforeseeable loss or business losses arising from a commercial purchase.
Where you purchase as a consumer, these limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including supplier disruption, transport or customs delays, industrial action, extreme weather, fire, flooding, public-health emergencies, war, government action, utility failure or material and labour shortages. We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and contact you where an order is materially affected.
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Personal information will be used as necessary to manage enquiries, payments, orders, delivery, customer service and legal obligations.
Contact us first so that we can try to resolve a complaint. Email studio@linea.com.mt, telephone +356 9944 6028 or write to LINEA Studio, 2, Triq tal-Bajjada, Qormi QRM 3406, Malta. Include your order number and a clear description of the issue.
Nothing in this clause restricts your right to contact the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority or use another remedy available under applicable law.
We may update these terms to reflect changes to our products, website, practices or legal obligations. The version applying to a purchase will generally be the version in force when the order was placed.
If a provision is unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified or removed only to the extent necessary; the remaining provisions continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malta. The courts of Malta will have jurisdiction, without depriving consumers residing elsewhere of any mandatory protections available under applicable law.
